Dr Jernail Singh Anand  is  “One of the greatest philosophers among poets, and one of the greatest poets among philosophers. He is not afraid to challenge, parody and transgress masters such as Dante or Milton and bring them to 21st century. THE SMART SPECIES

DR JERNAIL SINGH ANAND

He fears I can turn disloyal and forget Him

and his boons.

Man is smart enough

To make devil quote bible

Pass for a pastor.

Men are unstable in their minds

And they commit follies

In utter wisdom

Else, why a man would go on

Spinning money making his fellows starve?

One thing that i fear missing from mankind

Is kindness,

He is propelled not by passion

But some madness

Empty within, he weaves like a whirlwind.

God is really in a state of shock!

This man may rebel one day

And refuse to return

Subjecting  the clayey folds to eternal wait.

MEN WHO CONFUSE THE MASTER

God called his deputies and asked

Why people are afraid of hell?

What is hell? Is it so fearsome?

What is heaven? I don't understand this babble.

A deputy brought to him Divine Comedy

Which is this language? God asked.

And then, they brought before him

The Satanic Empire. It set God thinking.

I report no problem from any where

Only this planet is creating myths.

And living on them.

Why are these people stranded in long lines?

Your Majesty, they are visiting shrines.

Paying obessaince to gods.

Who told them gods can be pleased

With prayers, wishes, and desires?

Are we so shallow? They think us

Mad. Flowers and incense can please us..

In fact, they want us to look

The other way, while they  make a trespass.

Animals were praying.

Vegetation, waters, winds were at pray.

And men too, that too, all the day.

Were they sent on earth only to pray?

Why they hold me responsible

For all their woes? And seek mercy?

Fate fate fate they cry

Create hell around, and for heavens sigh?
