Un ghiocel, prevestitorul primăverii,
O zambilă să-ți încânte mirosul,
O lalea pentru modestie,
O brândușă care să-ți aducă aminte
Că ești mereu tânără sufletește,
O frezie pentru grija pe care ne-o porți,
O lăcrămioară pentru încredere
La care mai adaug un trifoi cu patru foi
Și chem o buburuză să aterizeze
Pe una din petalele lui să-ți aducă noroc.
Desertul tău preferat să-ți îndulcească viața,
Iubirea noastră să-ți vindece rănile,
Respectul nostru să-ți arătăm cât de mult te apreciem,
Timpul nostru să depănăm amintiri.

On March 8th We Give You...
A snowdrop as a sign of spring,
A hyacinth to please your sense of smell,
A tulip for modersty,
A crocus to remind you
That you’re always young at heart,
A freesia for the love and care you’re giving to us,
A lily of the valley for trust
To which I add a four-leaf clover
And call a ladybug to land on its petals
To bring you good luck.
Your favorite dessert to make your life sweet,
Our love to heal your wounds,
Our respect to show you how much we appreciate you,
Our time to reminisce about the wonderful days of your past.
