Poem by Taghrid Bou Merhi - LEBANON - BRASIL

DO YOU LAUGH... OR SORROW?

Do you laugh... or sorrow?!

I don't know if you realize the slow dying I am in...
Unconcerned, I left my shadow on a thorn bush branch...

And even though I know only to enter the void, and because I am immersed and hidden among the beats of questions,
The steps of the dream carry me to my tears hanging on the wall, which I placed under the exodus...

Was my first embryonic painting a lie?!
And what about the tears that do not burn expectations... were they born from a lie?!

I am in a state of ecstasy afflicted with the fever of silent contemplation, adorned with missing buttons awaiting fulfillment...
And the soul, with its wings in their fluttering and rustling, does not cease to move, avoiding the pillow of clouds...

Am I a joke or a reality, or a gelatinous being obscured by mystery and suffering!?

Inform me of the vision if you know...!
